BARRY NORMAN MIDDLEHURST Barry Norman Middlehurst, beloved partner to Evelyn Gerritse of Calgary, AB, sadly passed on December 16, 2008 at their residence at the age of 70. Besides his loving life partner Barry will also be dearly missed by his loyal companion Truman and his stepchildren, Ellen Dilawri and Reece Gerritse and his son-in-law Tony Dilawri and daughter-in-law Christina Terkilsen, as well as his four grandchildren, Meagan, Malik, Natalia and Nayana. His brother Ken Middlehurst (Jane), sister Claire Rauhous and brother-in-law Norman will also miss Barry. Cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends will also lovingly remember Barry. His parents, Norman and Gladys Middlehurst, and his daughter Catherine predeceased him. Barry was a successful respected businessman who built up his own agency business for more than 40 years to recently retire a year ago. He enjoyed golfing, playing cribbage, fishing, going to his cottage and walking his pooch. Barry always had a story or a way to brighten up a room. He was a man of honour and brought laughter, love and acceptance to many peoples lives and will be deeply missed.
