JACKIE MCCOWAN April 27, 1976 December 23, 1998 My dear, sweet Jackie, Ten long years since I've held you in my arms, but you are with me still, my inspiration for everything I do. You were so strong, so beautiful and kind, so immensely loving, and you touched so many lives. Everyone could see how special you were, but I got to be your Mom. I was truly blessed to have you. Such a fighter you were. Sometimes I really thought you could just go on and on. But it was hard to see you suffer, and when you left this world I knew you were free. I love you always, Mom.
