BERNICE ELIZABETH LAMA (nee COOKE) 1943 2008 Suddenly, on December 20, at the Concordia Hospital with her family by her side, Bernice Lama, of Winnipeg passed away at the age of 65. Bernice was predeceased by her parents, Marshall and Helen Cooke and her stepfather, Sandy Neill. Bernice is lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years, Larry. She also leaves to mourn her sister Janice (Gordon), brother Pat (Debbie), nephews and nieces, Doug, Greg (Sunny), and Colleen, niece Elizabeth, brother-in-law Ted and nephew Steven. Memorial service will be held on December 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue West in Transcona. Many thanks to the nurses, health care workers and staff of third Floor B wing of the Concordia Hospital and also the ICU staff for their compassionate care of Bernice. Flowers gratefully declined.
