MITZI LOU MUNROE - Forever Young - Peacefully in her sleep after a brave battle with cancer, Mitzi passed away in her home in Winnipeg on December 28, 2008 at the age of 54. Mitzi was born in Vancouver on August 22, 1954 and was the eldest of sisters Violet, Rita and Ruby. She moved to Winnipeg at 18 and married Terry (Pankiw) of whom she had two children, Chelsey (Goodman) and Clayton (Pankiw). For the last 7 1/2 years of her life, she continued to spread her love and expand her family by raising four cats and four birds with her loving fiance Gordon (Gooselin). She also became a very loving grandmother (Nona) to Kelly (Gooselin) and Quinn (Gooselin) whom she cherished very much. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. If friends so desire, donations in Mitzi's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
