Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLIVIJA MEISTERS It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Livi on December 25, 2008 at the age of 84 years into the hands of our Lord. Livija is lovingly remembered by her son Peter (Wendy) and grandchildren Meghan and Carly. Livija was born November 28, 1924 in Ligatne, Latvia. She married her husband Andy and together they came to Canada in 1953. Livi spent many years working at the downtown Bay where she made many lifelong friends. She was also active in the Latvian community and church functions. Liv was also known for her Green Thumb and a houseful of beautiful plants. However, her greatest joy was her grandchildren; Meghan and Carly. Livija will be missed by many friends here in Canada as well as back home and abroad. A celebration of Livija's life will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home.
