CAROL ANNE MEHMEL Merrily mindful of each passing hour, You hurriedly head for your morning run, Then hear a sermon on God's great power, Before seeking a spot under the soothing sun. By canoeing along rough waters or streams, Or picnicking with family or friend, Still keeping your dates with volleyball teams, And partners in golf and sports without end. Each merry moment was precious to you, A chance to welcome the wild world's wonders, And the love of friends both trusted and true, Sheltered by faith, Fearing not man's blunders. The biblical span is three score and ten, Deprived of half you left the world of men. - Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by Mom, Dad and family.
