STEPHANIE MAREK Stephanie Marek of Winnipeg and formerly of Germany passed away suddenly on December 27, 2008 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Stephanie was born in Germany in 1935 and came to Canada in November, 1956. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her son Vincent; brother Erich Lederer along with his family; sister Maria Gallos along with her family; sister Anna Schodt along with her family; and sister Erika Sauer along with her family. Stephanie was predeceased by her husband Vincenc Marek in 1994. Stephanie was a homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed long walks, movies, and spending time with family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. 586-8044
