DOREEN IRIS GOLTZMAN (TURNEY) January 3, 1926 January 2, 2009 It is with great sadness our family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (Nana). Surrounded by her loved ones she held our hands faithfully until she felt God reach out His hand to welcome her. Predeceased by her husband Sam and her twin sister Lillian. Left to cherish her memory is her five children Ray Turney (Ruth), Bill Turney, Don Turney (Susan), Renette Denton (Pat), Susan Zanewich (Darcy), 13 grand-children and 11 great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at Knysh Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Lunch to follow. Our family wishes to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the palliative care team at Seven Oaks Hospital. Mum requested us to acknowledge Dr. Christine Polimeni for many years of exceptional care. In lieu of flowers donations in Mum's memory may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Manitoba or CancerCare Manitoba.
