AUDREY FRANCIS JEFFS On Friday, January 2, 2009 surrounded by those she loved most, Audrey passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Conny, in 1991. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Ellen Ford (Robert) and Lynn, granddaughters Bobbie (Justin) and Sara, her sisters Barb Ellis, whom she adored, and Joan Mortenson, nieces, nephews and her lifelong friend Joyce. She began her working career at Winnipeg Paint and Glass and then joined forces with Conny and together they successfully built Aero Trades Western Ltd., a small airline charter company serving Manitoba and the surrounding provinces. Later in her life, Bobbie and Sara were her pride and joy, and she devoted her time and talents to caring for them. Audrey will always be remembered for her generous heart, her devotion to her family, her fabulous cooking and baking and her love of music and dancing. Many thanks to the staff on 4 South for your kindness, your caring and your compassion. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers a donation in Audrey's memory can be made to D'Arcy's ARC, 1793 Portage Ave., or Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter, 3062 Portage Ave.

  • Condolences on your loss. - Posted by: Francina Atkins (King) (Alumni) on: Feb 24, 2025

  • From the time I could walk until the day she died, Aunt Audrey and I had a special relationship. She took my sister, Ruth, and I to see movies when my mom needed a break, but she could never understand why we didn’t like musicals. When my mom and dad bought a corner grocery store, she was the first customer and it helped immensely to have her support throughout my life. Whenever I came home for for the holidays, visiting her and Uncle Conny was a highlight. We confided in each other and she always gave me good advice, which I usually took. I miss her, and I cherish her memory. - Posted by: John Ellis (Nephew) on: Sep 11, 2023
