FREDA SOBEY Peacefully, Freda Sobey passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at the Calvary Place Personal Care Home. Born August 9, 1919, in Winnipeg, Freda lived 89 years four months and 28 days. Remaining to forever cherish Freda's memory are her nephew Herb Reschke and his wife Carol of Winnipeg, nephew Irvin Reschke of Winnipeg, niece Mertle Karlicki and her husband Tom of BC, and their families. She was predeceased by her parents Emily and Adolph Zichner and her sister Ella and Ed Reschke. A celebration of Freda's life will be held on Monday, January 12 at 10:30 a.m. in the McDermot Avenue Baptist Church, 821 McDermot Avenue at Tecumseh Street. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Avenue.
