Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • To dear Joseph, Hi, I am the grand daughter of your mother's sister Leokadia Sabina Gacka (nee Pokropek). I never got the chance to meet Jadwiga but I am truly sorry to hear of her passing, even though it was a long time ago. I started researching our family ancestry only a few weeks ago and found some Christmas cards and an old photo with my grandmothers things of your mum. Thankfully it had her name and address on the back as all information about the Pokropek (Ferenc) family was lost when my nanna passed away (which was back in 1990). I then started to research the Ferenc family and finally found Jadwiga's obituary online. As sad as it was to hear that she and your father Paul had passed, I was overjoyed to finally find you. I would love to hear from you and exchange any photographs and stories I have. I would love to hear all about Jadwiga's life and the family. I wish you and your boys Dean and Ian all the best. warmest wishes Tracey Shaw Sydney, NSW, Australia LukeandTracey@gmail.com - Posted by: Tracey Shaw (Nee Gacka) (Grandaughter of Jadwiga's sister (Leokadia Sabina Gacka (nee Pokropek)) on: Apr 17, 2017
