CHANDA PHINOUVONGSITH We are deeply saddened to announce that on Thursday, January 22, 2009, our ma, ma-doo, great-grandma and loving friend, Chanda Phinouvongsith peacefully passed away at the age of 86 years at Seven Oaks Hospital with family and friends by her side. Chanda was born on October 17, 1922 in Bookeo, Laos and moved to Winnipeg in 1991. She spent her years here watching over her grandchildren and always keeping family close. She gave us life, love, laughter and many memories that will never leave our hearts. Chanda will be remembered by her loving family; daughters, Pinkeo Phinouvongsith, Chanthone Thongdit; sons-in-law, Souk Phinouvongsith, Maiguene Phinouvongsith, Ryan Durant; grandchildren, Bounmy, Phon, Kim, Lekan; Phinouvongsith children; great-granddaughter Karmen and many close family and friends. There will be a viewing on Monday, January 26 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and a ceremony will be held on Tuesday, January 27 at 1:00 p.m. all at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Grandma, You have given us the greatest gift ever, life, love, laughter and so many memories.
