DAN HOSTON Born August 13, 1919 Died: January 29, 2009 A true gentleman passed away peacefully Thursday, January 29, 2009. Predeceased by his wife Agnes Hoston (February 21, 2002), brothers Albert and Harold, sisters Julia, Olga and Grace. He leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, also childhood friends Frank Smith and Gordon Thompson to mourn his passing. Dan worked for CNR, Air Canada and the U of M. He cared selflessly for his wife Agnes for many years. After her death, he lived in the Grant Park area until November 2006 when he made a move to Amber Meadow, an assisted living facility in the north end, so he could be closer to family. He enjoyed his last years among new friends and engaged in activities there. Dan and Agnes lived by the motto When two quarrel both are in the wrong. They lived a wonderful life together since their marriage in November 1949. Many thanks to Dr Dalling, nurses and staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the excellent care and caring.
