Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWINNIFRED CLARKE May 24, 1922 - January 31, 2009 Passed away peacefully, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's, at the Beacon Hill Lodge. Winnie was employed for many years with the City of Winnipeg Assessment Department. She was a very loving kind person, who would help out wherever needed. She will be sadly missed. She is survived by her sister Roseen Derback, husband Edward. Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery. So sorry to hear of the passing of Winnie (as we knew her). She was so, so helpful and taught me to integrate at the Assessment Division. That was in 1961; but she's one person that I will never forget. There are people in this world that make a difference and she was one of those.
