ANNE SIMMONS (haw-noo-shaw) (Dearest Hania) February 8, 2008 To my very best friend and Mother, with the most tender love: Dear Mom, One year it has been since you left us, we honestly thought you were ageless. We couldn't have asked for a better Mother, We were always your number one priority. With your beauty, you could have been a movie star, but your goals in life were humble, just as you were. Dad and yourself eyed each other at the dances, when after 2 years he finally asked you for a dance. 2 weeks later, he was talking about marriage, because he had to walk you back home so far from the dances, so he said. When you married, you wanted a simple ceremony, but other powers intervened for a more lavish affair. Your parents arranged for a wedding dress, and you were the most beautiful bride of October 19, 1940. Later you had your 4 special children, two of each, you left your loving mark on each one of us, and you were the glue that held our family together after Dad died so young in 1966. Now 3 of us are left and our families (including 7 direct descendants), so a part of your DNA lives on. Jehovah God will remember you when his appointed time comes. So until then, rest, Sweet Princess, you have earned it, your work is complete for now, until God awakes you to begin your new life. At that time, you will meet your loved ones and friends yet again. P.S. Mom, thoughts from 2 hits from the Sixties come to mind and apply to you: 1968 - The Seekers (I Know) I'll Never Find Another You. 1965 - We Five (When I Woke Up This Morning,) You Were On My Mind. In the Bible, Saul's son Jonathan was like a beloved older brother to King David, who found Jonathan's love sweeter than the love from women. Similarly, nobody in this world could ever make me forget you, Mom. That's what you get for spoiling me rotten. I was a person you always had high expectations and hopes for. I will continue to live my life in that spirit, Mom, and the sky will always be the limit. Love always, your baby, TIM XOXOX
