Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY ISOBEL LAPOINTE (nee MCAULEY) Peacefully after a short illness, Isobel passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital on February 16, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband Phil. Isobel is survived by her three sons, Bob (Judi), Paul (Marg) and Roger (Kris); grandchildren, Tracey Lapointe, Kerri (Michael) Webber, Tracy (Deon) Donlan, Jim Lapointe, Victoria and Natasha Lapointe as well as great-grandchildren, Chloe and Willow Lapointe, Jack and Isabella Webber, McKenzie Donlan, and Hayden Lapointe. Isobel was born in Brighton Township, Ontario on June 9, 1922, growing up in Belleville. She met Phil during the war, while he was serving in the Air Force and they married on June 21, 1945. After the war they moved to Winnipeg, settling in the Norwood flats. Isobel enjoyed a long career at Dominion Bridge. Cremation has already taken place and in accordance with her wishes a private family memorial will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their kind compassionate care. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
