To my dear & loving mum...Victoria Bielak-Millar as this is the name she used when she divorced. There is a lot of good things to write about...she was deeply religious and would frequently go to both the Holy Family Church in Mt Druitt, Sydney Australia, the suburb she lived in since around the mid 1960's to her passing 17th of February 2009, 3 days short of her 78th birthday...and St Andrews Ukrainian Catholic Church, Lidcome, Sydney...and the church where her funeral mass took place. My mum brought me along with my other 5 brothers & sister in the same way, going to church every Sunday...and by doing this resulted in all of us being God fearing & respectable adults. Anything my mum cooked or prepared was the most delicious! I have not come across anytime in my whole life (almost 59 years) that comes close! I always went back for seconds & if I remember correctly thirds at times! My mum always believed in me and I hope one day I can truly thank her for this as I'm the only son that had finished a degree (Bachelor of Business - Accounting Major) and then went on to complete a post graduate that saw me become a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) which I know that she was proud of in regards to both achievements. But the biggest & most important achievement of my life was marrying the love of my life...Natalia who was originally from Ukraine and whom my mum called Nataluka (which I believe is a very endearing name for someone who is called Natalia in Ukraine) when she first met her...and in which my loving wife will never forget! There were many other great qualities about my mum that I know I could easily write a book on...and maybe one day in my retirement I will...so that her grandchildren...and now great grandchildren...can have an idea what sort of loving & great person she was! With love and respect...son of Victoria Bielak-Millar...Wayne Joseph Millar - Posted by: Wayne Millar (Son) on: Dec 21, 2024
