CRYSTAL HUNTER Five Years... February 21, 2004 Five years without you, Crystal. Bleak season first measured in bitter loss, Then in gently returning rhythms; Hope forged in new bonds. Friends have moved on to adult vistas, complex words you never really knew. But we who are still in twilight, hold on tightly to our glowing memories. Some days they spark laughter, and some days it hurts just to breathe. As the if onlys what might have beens turn quietly. Into: What a treasure we were given!
