KELLY (KHALIL) ABO FARRAGE January 1, 1936 - February 22, 2009 It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our beloved husband and father Kelly, on February 22, 2009. He is predeceased by his father Sheikh Ibrahim, mother Sheikha Mahiba, and brother Monsour. Left to mourn are Kelly's wife Wafaa, his children Basil, Ramia, Nora, and Ramy, his siblings Nabila, Elham, Fouad, and Henwy, numerous nieces and nephews, and an extended family that numbers in the hundreds, plus Kelly's many friends and business associates. Kelly will be most remembered perhaps for his love of his family, work, and life in general, his endless energy, and his spirited storytelling. He was a man of great character, pride, and honour. A service was held in Kelly's village of Baalchmay, Lebanon, on February 24. Funeral services will be held in Winnipeg on Saturday, February 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, at 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Druze Orphanage in Lebanon through Spiritual Leader Sheikh Ziad Chmait at the funeral service.
