Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM PASVEER With his earthly journey now complete, and his family at his side, William Pasveer was taken into the arms of the Lord on February 26, 2009. Life now begins for our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Carried in our hearts with peace, joy and love, he leaves to celebrate his journey, his beloved wife of 57 years, Mary; his daughter Gerty; his sons, Walter and Carl; his daughter-in-law Donna, 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. As a faithful servant, William now joins, his daughter Joanne and son Henry in their celebration of eternal life. William was born in the Netherlands and immigrated to Canada with his wife and son, Henry, in 1953 to settle in Winnipeg. He spent his first few years in the gardening industry but finally found his calling in demolition and worked for many years with Londero's Wrecking. A committed Christian, William dedicated himself to the Christian Heritage Party and to the Covenant Christian Reformed Church where he served as a fellow Deacon and Catechism teacher. In his leisure time, William enjoyed writing poetry, playing the harmonica and watching sports.
