CALVIN ADDISON SHOEMAKER It is with heavy hearts that the family of Cal Shoemaker announces his passing on February 28, 2009 at Grandview Hospital. Calvin Addison Shoemaker was born June 5, 1931 to parents Allen and Louetta (nee Harkness) Shoemaker. Cal leaves to mourn his death his wife of 57 years Eileen (nee Agar) Shoemaker; sons, Monte (Linda), Ken, David, Randy, and Ricky; daughters, Barbara (Miles), Cindy (David), and daughter-in-law Diane; as well as numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brother Glen (Audrey), sisters, Sadie (Harvey) Thelma and Beatrice, and numerous nieces and nephews. Cal was predeceased in death by his son Don, parents Allen and Louetta, brothers Nelson and Irvin and sister Merle. Cal will be remembered and missed by many for his love, generosity and hard work, not only for his family but friends, neighbours and community. Cal's Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Grandview United Church, Grandview, MB, with Reverend Steve Wilson officiating and Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
