FRANK PLENAR Frank Plenar passed away peacefully at seven oaks hospital on February 26, 2009, at the age of 91 with family by his side. He went to meet his Lord and Saviour. He was predeceased by his wife Agnes on February 27, 1976. He is survived by his only son Rick (Kim); and grandchildren Savannah and Callum. He also leaves behind one sister-in-law Betty Polson, nieces Angelica Polson, and Barbara Stupak, as well as many friends throughout the world. He maintained a very active and fulfilling lifestyle, and was a world traveler. Frank was a very devoted Catholic, and a very gentle, and compassionate man, which touched the lives of all who knew him. He lived in his home in Winnipeg and a cabin in the Victoria Beach area until his passing. His greatest joy was his grandchildren as they grew into adults, and they will miss him dearly. A special thank you to Arnold and Lois Hryciuk, and Erwin Wilde for their friendship, and special bond to the family for many years. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. prior to the funeral mass.
