FRANCES MARGARET ROSE SPENCE March 21, 1949 - October 12, 2008 My dear Mother; The Creator brought you into this world at a special time of year, the beginning of Spring. A time of new growth and new beginnings. With this in our hearts and minds, we will return you to Mother Earth and bury your ashes on March 21, 2009. Frances asked that her ashes be buried on top of her mother Avena Spence's (nee Ducharme) grave. A memorial service will be held at the Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin, Manitoba on Saturday, March 21 at 1:00 p.m. when Frances' ashes will be buried. A lunch will follow at the Dauphin Friendship Centre where Frances had served on the Board of Directors. Frances' surviving children ask that her many friends she made in her life, join them to celebrate Frances' life at this occasion. Frances leaves to mourn her surviving siblings, Elsie Pacey (Arthur), Jim Spence (Ruby), Alvin Spence (Arlene) and Florence Kipling (nee Spence). Her children, Alana McKay (Ron Mosher), Allan McKay and Alida Lafreniere. Frances also had a large extended family with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Frances will especially be missed by her two grandchildren, Ryan Raymond McKay-Mosher and Cherry Lynxleg.
