I realize that you (Jim, Blaine and Karen) may never see this tribute as this memorium is from 2009. I worked with Judy years ago at Eatons in Winnipeg. We worked together in the movie rental department and the record/tapes (no cd's back then) department. She was a gem, who took me under her wing. I was only 19 years old at that time. We then found out that we each had siblings that were writers. Her sister Sandra Birdsell and my brother Patrick Friesen. I often think about her and was so saddened for all of you when I heard of her death in the car accident. I have often wondered how all of you are doing.
