FRANCESCO FERLAINO It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our father Francesco Ferlaino in Italy on March 19, 2009. Francesco was born May 4, 1924 in San Mango D'Quino. He was a hard worker, kind and full of patience, truly a dedicated family man and respected by all who knew him. Remaining to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years Maria (nee Nicoletti); their children, daughters, Elia (Aldo) Motta and grandchildren, Dario, Antonio (Cristina) and great-grandson Aldo, daughter Sina (beloved husband Roberto) Motta and grandchildren, Aldo (Antonella), great-grandchildren, Roberto and Danila, Maria (Gianni) and great-grandchildren, Sara and Serena, and Massimo (Piera) all from Italy. Sons in Winnipeg are Rosario (Rosa), grandchildren, Francesco and Maria, and son Armando (Maria) and grandchildren, Maria and Francesco. Both grandsons honored to have their grandfather's name and continue his legacy. Our father's passing leaves a great void in our hearts, but we are thankful with having spent time with him and remembering his infectious laugh and his sense of humor. These sweet memories are what we will all hold on for now until we meet again. PAPA TI VOGLIAMO TANTO BENE Riposa in Pace. A mass in honor of Francesco will be held March 31, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue.
