Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA SLEDZ June 14, 1929 - March 29, 2009 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Maria Sledz (nee Wojtyna) at the Holy Family Nursing Home on March 29, 2009 at the age of 79. Maria was predeceased by her husband Stan and son Edward. She leaves surviving brother Jozef in Poland, sons Franciszek and Boguslaw with families in Poland, sons Wes and Stan with families and daughter-in-law Helena with family in Winnipeg. The family would like to thank everyone for all the love and support during this difficult time, as well as a special thank you to the staff of Holy Family Nursing Home for their excellent care. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, April 1 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 2 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating.
