KJARTAN MARINO ANDERSON On Saturday, March 28, 2009 Kjartan Marino Anderson passed away at St. Boniface Hospital in his 91st year. Marino was the youngest of four children of the late Jonasina and Jonas Anderson of Cypress River, MB. He was predeceased by one brother Halldor and sisters Sigrun Johnson and Lillian Brynjolfsson. He leaves to mourn, his wife Esther (nee Elliott) of 60 years; daughter Susan and son Mark (Judy). Marino was born in Cypress River on April 27, 1918. He joined the Royal Bank at 18 and remained there until his retirement. He was an avid sport enthusiast. At Marino's request, cremation has taken place with a graveside service to be held in Lake of the Woods Cemetery, Kenora, ON at a later date. Friends wishing to do so may make a donation in Marino's memory to D'Arcy's Animal Rescue Centre or to a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the 4th floor staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their loving care.
