BASILIO PANGAN SIMBULAN Peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre, Basilio Simbulan passed away at the age of 86 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children and their families, daughters, Lily (Jaime), Carmen (Robert), Merly (Arman); sons, Poncing (Ningning), Nel (Zeny), Dar (Liza); his 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren as well as many family and friends both in Canada and the Philippines. Lamay and Prayer services will be held at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. (corner of Inkster and Keewatin) on Saturday, April 25, 2009. Lamay commences at 6:00 p.m. and concludes at the request of the family. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, visitation at 9:30 a.m. Monsignor Enrique Samson officiating. Following the Funeral Service a reception will be held at the Mosaic Reception Center. Interment will be in the Philippines at a later date.
