EMILY LOUISE FERLAND (nee MINARD) After a lengthy illness, on April 24, 2009, Emily Ferland, beloved wife of the late Raymond Ferland passed away at the age of 75 years. Emily was predeceased by her loving husband Ray and her sister Marie Holm formerly of Gimli, MB. She will be lovingly remembered by her nephew Jeff (Carolyn) Chaput and their family Edward (Adeline Patricia) Chaput, and many dear friends. Emily was a true nature lover; long walks and birds. Gardening and visits with close friends were her passion. She was a kind soul. Cremation and a private service with interment took place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A special thank you to the We Care and HomeCare staff for their family felt support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Emily to the Humane Society of Manitoba or Cancer Society.
