MARGARET LOUISE STEWART (nee ATKINS) The family of Margaret Louise Stewart (nee Atkins), sadly wish to announce her passing on May 6, 2009, at the St. Boniface Hospital. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Joseph Hayward Stewart, her parents Alfred and Esther, brothers Ralph and Don. She leaves to mourn her passing, sons Glen and Ward (Brenda); daughter Debbie; grandchildren, Meagan, Scott and Rae-Anne (Cory) and sister Shirley, brother Tom (Ollie) as well as many other relatives and friends that she cared for deeply. Margaret was born June 22, 1930, and resided in Transcona all her life. Marg and Joe were married on June 25, 1949, and spent 59 wonderful years together until his passing on August 22, 2008. Marg and Joe, upon retirement, traveled extensively, and spent many happy summers at the cabin at Grand Beach. Her love of family and sports, especially golf, were her passions in life. A Memorial will be held in her honour on May 14, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Transcona Cemetery. The family wish to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, and all the Homecare workers for their care and compassion. Rest in Peace Mom and Dad. We Love You.
