ELMA (LEE) HAMELIN It is with great sadness that the family of Elma Hamelin announces her sudden passing on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the age of 68 years. Left to mourn her loss are her daughters Kim, Cheryl (Wayne) and Jackie, grandchildren Candice, Christa, Micheal, Chantel, Angel and Brad; great grandchildren Dominic, Dredan, Diamond, Gage, Deja; siblings Donna, Darlene, Wayne (Janet) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters and two brothers. Elma will be remembered as a loving and caring person. She taught her kids love, respect and the meaning of family. Elma worked at the Yale Hotel for over 30 years until Lupus forced her to resign. The family would like to thank the HSC ER and MICU Physicians and nurses for their care and support for our mother. A wake will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. Funeral service 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 20 also at Bardal Funeral Home. Honourary pallbearers will be Mike, Hess, Wayne, Carl, Darryl, Brian, Brad and Brendan.
