Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPEARL GERTRUDE MORCOMBE Carroll Lynn Morcombe sadly announces the passing of her mother, Pearl Gertrude Morcombe (nee Zest) on Thursday, May 14, 2009. Pearl is survived by her daughter, her sister Doreen Daman, and many nieces and nephews. Pearl was predeceased by her brother Clarence Zest. Pearl was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, April 24, 1920 to Clarence Alexander Zest and Gertrude Annie Jago. She was a devoted and loving daughter and mother, who placed her family first. She served her employers - Manitoba Hospital Commission, Manitoba Association of Registered Nurses, Winnipeg General Hospital, Great West Life - with distinction and her church community with compassion. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2009 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 45 Dalhousie Drive. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Avenue. Friends may call at the church an hour before the funeral services. In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make a donation in Pearl's memory to a charity of choice. Chapel Lawn 885 - 9715
