PETER FERENS On Tuesday, May 26, 2009, Peter passed away peacefully at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 82 years. Remaining to forever cherish Peter's memory are his wife Evelyn; daughters, Angela and Dana; granddaughter Heather; brother Nick, as well as many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, Dmytro and Anna; as well as his sisters, Sophie Ferens, Ada Nesplick, Lena Troniak, Mary Paraluk; and brothers, Mike, Bill, John and Eric. Peter's funeral service will be held on Monday, June 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 455 Douglas Avenue, with Fr. Walter Klimchuk presiding. A reception will follow in the lower parish Hall. Interment will take place at a later date in the St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Thalberg, MB. A heartfelt thank you is extended to the staff at the Concordia Hospital for their professional and compassionate care given to Peter and his family during this difficult time. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the St. Anne Church Building Fund or a charity of one's choice.
