Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySYLVIA LAWES Peacefully, after a brief illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Sylvia Lawes on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the age of 75 years. Sylvia will be lovingly remembered by her husband Brian; children, Peter, Catherine, Andrew; and her sister Marjorie Stead. Born on August 26, 1933 Sylvia grew up in Keighley, England. She worked as a teacher and a police matron in the Public Safety Building. Sylvia was an active member in the church, a member of the Rotary Club Inner Wheel, a volunteer at Park Manor Personal Care Home and also enjoyed gardening A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Glen Lawn Memorial Garden Cemetery, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Our family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Lodge Personal Care Home and the Grace Hospital.
