CHARLES ANTHONY HURAK Charles passed away in his sleep in the early hours of June 10, 2009, at the Gimli Community Health Centre. He is survived by his wife Mary, son Don (Gail), grandson Evan (Becky), granddaughter Amber, and his sister Rose Schnerch of Balmertown, Ontario. Charles was the youngest of 13 children. His parents Karol and Mary, as well as eleven of his brothers and sisters predeceased him. Charles was very grateful for the assistance his niece Joan Vermaak, provided over the past several months. A special thank you to Dr. R.C. Patel, and the staff at the Gimli Health Centre for their kindness. Prayers will be said at St. Michaels Church in Gimli, on June 16, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated in the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd. in Winnipeg at on June 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Barry Schoonbaert officiating. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
