HEINZ MOELLER 1923 2009 Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 in Winnipeg. Heinz was the beloved husband of Annemarie (née Kroeker); father of Ingrid (Joe), Margrit (Wayne), Karin (Godwin) and Gunther (Catherine); and Opa to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and many siblings, but is survived by his brother Siegfried. Born and raised in Mecklenburg, Germany, Heinz immigrated with his wife and children to Winnipeg in 1956. He spent many wonderful years in the circle of family and friends, especially with Die Danziger. After years of hard work, he enjoyed travelling with family throughout Canada, the United States, Mexico and especially to his siblings back in Germany. The family expresses many thanks to the staff at the Manitoba Renal Centre on Notre Dame Avenue for supporting Heinz through his dialysis sessions over many years and especially to the sixth floor nursing staff at the Manitoba Rehab Centre for supporting him during his last few weeks. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
