Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySYLVIA ARASON MAGNUS MASALES Peacefully, at West Park Manor on June 11, 2009. Born in Manitou and raised in Glenboro, Manitoba. Sylvia studied in Winnipeg and moved to Calgary where she worked for several years. She returned to Winnipeg to be with her family. After a long career with Great West Life Assurance, Sylvia married Bill Masales and moved to Mississauga, Ontario, returning to Winnipeg and her family following Bill's passing. Sylvia was a great supporter of all family matters and maintained tight bonds with the Arason/Magnus family Icelandic relatives and heritage. Sylvia was predeceased by her husband Bill, her sister Eleanore Sinclair and brothers Lloyd and Herman Magnus. Sylvia is survived by many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews who will all miss her dearly. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23 at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue. Relatives and friends attending the graveside service may meet at the cemetery entrance. A reception will follow at the Holiday Inn Airport West, 2520 Portage Avenue. Condolences: www.bardal.ca
