He was born August 21, 1933 in Hamburg, Germany and is survived by his sons, Karl (Megan Park) and Justin (Darci Forsythe); and his grandchildren, Liam and Alexandria; his brothers Hans (Sigrid Labrentz ) and Gerhard; and nephews Gerhard and family, Nils and family and Dirk. The family wishes to thank the caring staff of Grace Hospital who treated Horst with kindness and dignity during his time there. A service will be held at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2009. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
