DOROTHEA FEDORCHUK (SCHELLER) (nee WOODFORD) July 25, 1925 - July 3, 2009 With great sadness I announce the passing of my mother and grandmother on Friday, July 3rd at Seven Oaks Hospital, following a brief illness. Dorothea will be loving remembered by her daughter Sherrin (Douglas) and grandchildren Macara and Brandon Markiewich; and husband and soulmate Walter Fedorchuk (residing in Calgary). She was predeceased by her parents and spouse Arthur Scheller. Dorothea's greatest pride was in the years she spent in the Canadian Women's Army Corp. (C.W.A.C.) while stationed in Kamloops, B.C. Dorothea was a friendly and outgoing lady who loved to help others. She was guided by her deep faith and unending strong will. What she lacked in size she made up for in determination. Sincere appreciation is extended to mom's extended family at Luther Home where mom gratefully enjoyed the last years of her life. Thank you for your support, compassion and care. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 8 at Glen Eden Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m., 4477 Main Street.
