DELLA LAYNE SORENSEN It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of Della Layne Sorensen. Della lost her battle with cancer July 2, 2009, with her family by her side, and a song in her heart. Della is survived by her loving mother, Irene Irving (Earl), sister, Sandi Mitchell (Patrick), brother Mel (Steph) Olson and step brother Lyndon Irving and Shannon and step sister April her three sons and their families Kent, (Katia, Zachary) Kurt, and Keith (Jen, Heaven, Eden and Cody). Along with numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life is planned for Wednesday, July 8th, at 2:00 p.m. at Stonewall Christian Assembly, 2 Dolomite Ave., Stonewall, MB. The family wishes to thank the nurses in Palliative Care BRHC and Dr. Czaykowski of CancerCare Winnipeg and her extended family at Princess Auto whose love and support meant the world to her. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Della's name can be made to The Children's Wish Foundation
