PETER FROESE FUNK December 4, 1927 - July 12, 2008 The moment that you died, Our hearts split in two, The one side filled with memories, The other died with you. We often lay awake at night, When the world is fast asleep, And take a walk down memory lane, With tears upon our cheeks. Remembering you is easy, We do it every day. But missing you is a heartache, That never goes away. We hold you tightly within our hearts, And there you will remain, Life has gone on without you, But it will never be the same. For those who still have their dads, Treat him with tender care, You will never know the emptiness, As then you turn and he's not there. Loving Memories Last Forever We love and miss you. Your loving wife, Ruth, your nine children (nine in-laws), 21 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
