GERALDINE STEPHENSON ROSHICK July 5, 1973 - July 9, 2009 With great sadness, the family of Geraldine Stephenson Roshick announces that, despite a brave struggle, she has passed away. Left to mourn and miss her are her children, Carlin and Avery, parents Jane and Jerry, sister Christine (Jamie), brother Jeremy (Kristy), Cookie Granny and many sorrowing friends and relatives. Geraldine will be lovingly remembered for her kind and caring nature, her love of family, and her beautiful smile. She was devoted to her children and loved them with her whole heart. Friends and family will think most often of how Geraldine could make them laugh. With just a few words, she could lighten any situation and make you see the funny side of things. Geraldine always found herself in careers that focused on caring for others - an attribute that coloured all aspects of her life. Her easy-going demeanor and stubbornness were qualities that her family and friends cherished. She was always there when you needed her, and oftentimes, she would know what to do without even asking. The ultimate people person', she enjoyed the company of others, especially her family gatherings at the Lake and the Farm. In honour of Geraldine's life, a memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, July 18 from 12:00 noon on. Family and close friends are invited to attend, call for location. Should friends and family desire, donations may be contributed towards a trust fund for Geraldine's children.
