RANDY OWEN With the heaviest of hearts we announce the sudden passing of Randy on July 28, 2009 at the age of 54. He is survived by his wife Linda, his daughter Krista (Barry), son Tim, grandson Travis. Also siblings Samuel (Darlene), Tom (Linda), Sandra (Ernie) and Cheryl (Dallas), along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Samuel, mother Marian, brother Ernie, nephew Todd, and father-in-law Sydney. Randy was employed by Westfair Foods for many years. He loved to entertain, the more people he cooked for the happier he was. His family and friends were the most important part of his life. When he had the time he loved to go golfing or fishing especially when he was out at the trailer at West Hawk Lake years ago. Another one of his great passions was his motorcycles. From the time he was a teenager he loved riding them with his buddies, his brothers or anyone who just wanted to go for a ride. Randy would give you the shirt off his back without you even having to ask. His compassion, love and laughter will always be remembered. He will be missed dearly by his loyal companion Taffy. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Addictions Foundation of Manitoba, 1031 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 0R8. You will live on forever in our hearts; you are gone but never forgotten.
