SHARNA KARLINSKY Suddenly on July 22, 2009, age 78, in Winnipeg. Loving wife of Jake (Julius) for more than 60 years and mother of Janice (Jon Ennis), Audrey (Rick Anderson), and Cheryl (Alan Levy). Devoted Baba of Joshua, Miriam and Naomi Ennis, Rachel and Valerie Anderson, all of Toronto and special Baba of Noa and Adi Farage of Winnipeg. Beloved sister of Raizy Bercu, Los Angeles. Predeceased by her parents Al (Abraham) Malinsky and Jenny (Zelda) nee Gonick. Born in Winnipeg, Sharna worked for many years alongside her husband in their business Superlite Electric. She was an avid, skilled bridge player with her Life Master's. She loved summers at her cottage in Winnipeg Beach where she entertained friends and family. Sharna was charming, feisty and very bright and knew what was important to her. Her family and especially her grandchildren were her first priority. Cooking and baking for others gave her great pleasure, in particular her delicious meatballs, blueberry piershkas, and famous chocolate chip cookies. Sharna was one of a kind and will surely be missed! Funeral services were held July 24 graveside at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery.
