FRANK C. LUBINSKI Suddenly on July 22, 2009 at his residence in Calgary, Alberta, Frank Charles Lubinski, aged 59 years passed away. Frank is predeceased by his father William Lubinski. He leaves to mourn his passing his mother Nettie Lubinski, sister Rose Chuckry (Steve), brothers Andy (Betty), Don (Dianne), Jack (Dianne), niece Erin (Marc), nephews Clayton (Paula), Darren (Rita), Trevor, Curtis, Zachary, great nephews Lochlan and Nolan, great niece Danica, loved ones and many friends. Frank was born on February 28, 1950. He was raised on the family farm and community store business in Rembrandt, Mb. where he attended school in Rembrandt and later in Arborg. At an early age Frank realized he had extraordinary technical and mechanical skills which soon turned to his interest in the aviation industry. He began his career with Saunders Aircraft Corporation in Gimli, then moved to Calgary where he worked for Air Canada followed by Aero Aviation until his passing. Frank was highly regarded for his problem solving abilities and was sent as far away as Africa, Holland and northern regions of Canada to assist with complex aircraft recovery operations. Frank was an avid outdoorsman and loved to spend his spare time enjoying frequent visits to the mountains near Calgary with friends camping, hunting and fishing. Memorial prayer service for family and friends to be held on Saturday, August 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Benedicts Church, Camp Morton Mb. with Fr. Art Seaman officiating. Cremation has taken place with interment to follow after the service at the Gimli community cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
