ANNE CANDIE OSTREMAN December 1, 1930 - August 15, 2009 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Candie Ostreman, aged 78 years on August 15, 2009 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Anne was born in Potsdam, East Berlin, Germany. She came to Canada in the early fifties. She met Dino Cort Ostreman and in 1960 they married. In 1963 she gave birth to her son Ciro. As a family they went on holidays to Banff, Lake Louise and Vancouver and also to Disneyland. Candie loved gardening, yoga, reading and pets. In 1987 she decided to live independently. Predeceased by her parents, she is survived by her estranged husband and son Ciro. With the deepest sorrow, we have to say goodbye to a loved one who had so much to give to the ones closest to her. Your giving nature, sense of humour and words of wisdom will always be kept close to our hearts. Words can and will never express how much you were loved and will be missed. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street with interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery.
