He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 56 years, Irene; son Rudy, grandsons Ryan and Kyle; son Erwin (Debbie). Jake was predeceased by his father, mother and one sister. Jake will be sadly missed by all, especially by Maxi. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch Street, with interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Viewing prior to the service.
