EDWIN ERNEST HILL It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved husband, father and grandfather, Edwin Ernest Hill of Meadow Portage, Manitoba on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre, in Winnipeg at the age of 65 years. Prayers for Ed were offered on Friday, October 9, 2009 in the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Chapel, Dauphin at 7:00 p.m., Mrs. Laverne Hudson led the prayers. Funeral Mass will be celebrated today, Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Meadow Portage Community Hall, Meadow Portage, Manitoba. Rev. Fr. Norberto J. Monton and Rev. Fr. Noel Boulanger as celebrants. The service will conclude at the hall with cremation to follow and a private interment service to be held at a later date. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in memory of Ed to the Children's Wish Foundation or to the Prevost Foundation c/o Ste. Rose General Hospital, Ste. Rose du Lac, Manitoba.
