Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCZESLAW GROMEK It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Czeslaw Gromek on October 7, 2009 at Concordia Hospital, aged 81. Czeslaw will be missed by his wife Zofia, children Bozena (Mirko), Ewa (Jurek), Krzysztof, and Zbigniew (Anna), eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Czeslaw was born January 7, 1928 in Poland. In 1983 with his wife and youngest son, Zbigniew, he moved to Canada to rejoin oldest daughter Bozena. His courage, hard work, and belief in God helped him build a new life on foreign soil he called home. As he travels yet again with our prayer, we would like to thank him for life and opportunities he has given us and wish him all the best in the hands of God. Prayers will be held on Thursday, October 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue with interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
