JAIME GABRIEL Surrounded by family and friends on October 17, 2009, at 11:58 p.m., God received Jaime Gabriel home. He was predeceased by his father, Eloy Gabriel Sr. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Rosalina C. Gabriel. His life is celebrated by his loving wife, Estrella Gabriel, his two sons, Angelo (Shelley) and Michael (Alissa), and his grandsons Jaime Antonio, Jhavel, and Rhomel. Also left to cherish his memory are his brothers and sisters, Lucita Nevedo, Amelita Gabriel, Teresita Omanito, Flora Divina, Josefina Simeon, Eloy Gabriel Jr., Virginia Geverra, Nestor Gabriel, Arthur Gabriel, Rolando Gabriel, Leticia Duro, and their families. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends and associates. Jaime was born in Lepa, Malasiqui, Pangasinan, Philippines on July 18, 1948. He came to Canada in 1976. He lived as a military man and loving husband and father, and was known for his hard work and dedication as a leader in the community (PGM, OFSAM, Timpuyog, Veterans and Volunteers Without Borders). The family is very grateful to the staff at H.S.C. Emergency and MICU for their care and compassion. Viewing will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street from 6:00 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25, 2009. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Church, 748 Keewatin Street on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. Reception to follow at Glen Eden Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Jaime will be missed, but never forgotten.
